Exist Wedding's FAQ

Through our conversations with couples, we have found some frequently asked questions. Because of this, we thought we would make this video answering these questions. We hope to provide insight into how we prepare, film, and edit wedding videos.

Question One: Why should we hire Exist Media to capture our day?

Here at Exist Media, we are passionate and grateful to be a part of your special day. We try to bring energy and professionalism to your day so you can live in the moment. Another Advantage of hiring Exist Media is that we are a team of filmmakers. If a videographer were to get sick, we have qualified people who can fill in. This also means all your videos are being reviewed by multiple people to ensure the greatest quality content.

Question Two: What do you capture?

We are a highlight film-based company that captures videos of the major moments including first looks, the ceremony, toasts, and dances. In addition to that, we collect videos of all the details throughout the day including the rings, venue, flowers, and moments with family and friends. We use this footage to create a highlight reel so you can relive your day forever.

Question Three: What do the next steps look like?

If you were interested in moving forward with us, we would send you a contract as well as an invoice for the total. We ask for a 25% down payment, then the remaining balance a few days before we arrive! Our online invoicing system allows you to pay as much as you when you want! From there we would send you a questionnaire so we can logistically and creatively plan for your special day.

Question Four: Do you travel? What does it cost?

We are willing to travel anywhere! Our policy is $1.00 per mile after 100 miles. If your venue is 50 miles from our storefront you wouldn’t be charged! If your venue was 100 miles from the office, we’d charge $100 for the travel. For destination weddings, we would ask for more information about the event before providing the quote!

Question 5: How do you choose your music?

We license non-copyrighted music through Artlist as well as other sites. If you were interested in selecting your own song through these sites let us know.

Question 6: What is your turnaround time?

Our turnaround time is 8-12 weeks! We send you an online video downloadable from a link.

Question 7: Can I include add-ons later?

You can book our baseline package. This allows you to incorporate additional services as your budget allows for it, these additions can be made up to 30 days before your wedding date if services are still available.
