What if I don't like any of the package options?

At Exist Media, all of our packages are customizable! You can pick any package and adjust it to your liking, and we will work with you to figure out a price of your liking as well. If you want a completely custom package, feel free to contact us, and we will work with you to create a package designed just for you.

Where is Exist Media based out of?

We are a young company based out of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. We have team members all over the United States, however, so Exist Media is everywhere!

When can I expect my photos or videos back?

Each project is different and the exact time will be specified in your contract, but at Exist Media, we guarantee all photos and video are back to you within 60 days of your event or session.

If my event is far away, will Exist travel?

Yes! We love travel here at Exist, and will take any opportunity to get out and about. Since each travel situation is different, we will work with you to figure out the specifics and costs.

What programs does Exist Media use to edit photos and videos?

Here at Exist Media, we use Adobe programs. For videos, we use PremierPro. For photography, we use Lightroom for edits and Photoshop for small touchups such as fly-away hairs, or the convenient pimple that decided to show up the day of your photo session.

Will Exist Media post my content on their website or socials?

We would never post any of your content without your written consent. The want and need for privacy is completely understandable, especially since we will be working with you for some of your most intimate moments.

How does Exist Media find their music for videos?

We have a subscription to a copyright free music download library where we get all our video soundtracks from. If you have a specific style of music you would like for your video, just let us know, and we will do our best to find a track that fits your request!

Can you Live Stream our wedding?

While we can't live stream directly from our cameras, we can absolutely help you get the live stream set up on a phone and take care of that for you. We know Live Stream is becoming much more popular in the times of COVID, so we'd absolutely love to help make it possible for as many people to join you on your special day, while still being COVID conscious.

Does Exist Media require down payments?

Each project is different, but in short, yes. Your down payment will cover the original meeting and time spent collaborating and drawing up your contract. Our general policy is 25% of the project cost down, with 10% of that being nonrefundable. 100% of the project must be paid by the date of filming or shooting.

What precautions is Exist Media taking during COVID?

As many as we can. As some of our team members are front-line healthcare workers, COVID precautions are especially important to us. We wear masks at all times during sessions, and have switched to online meeting formats for the time being, to reduce exposure.

How do I get in contact with Exist Media?

We would love to hear from you, so we have done our best to make it as easy as possible to reach us. You can submit an inquiry, email us at team@exist.media, or if you're trying to reach a specific team member, you can email them at theirfirstname@exist.media. We usually communicate over email, but will give you the phone number of whomever you are working with for your project for ease of contact.

What is the cancellation policy?

While we hate to see you cancel, we understand that things come up, especially during a worldwide pandemic. We have a relatively flexible cancellation policy here at Exist and work closely with you to figure everything out. The only thing non-refundable is the deposit, and everything else we will make sure to get back to you in a specified amount of time.

How much experience does Exist have?

While we are a realtively young company, we have packed our time full of projects. Our founder, Cody, has filmed weddings in the double digits since he founded Exist, and is set to shoot 20+ in 2021. He also has ample experience filming other types of events, residential promotions, business promotions, and more. Tori, our main photographer, is a relatively new photographer, but has done plenty of sessions with families, couples, expectant parents, seniors, and even furry friends. Everyone has to start somewhere, and we have been lucky enough at Exist Media to have plenty of opportunities for projects.

How does Exist Media ensure my photos or video will not be lost?

We have three different cameras we bounce between here at Exist, but to ensure we keep your content safe, we film on 128GB SD cards that we switch out periodically through the event. One of our cameras is a "dual slot" camera, meaning when we take photos or videos, they are automatically stored on two different storage discs. During the upload process, we store your content on the cloud, so it's ensured to be stored forever. If it's thirty years down the road, and you can't find your video, shoot us an email, and we will be able to pull it from our storage cloud and send it your way.

What is the benefit of having 2 Videographers or 2 Photographers?

In videography, we have "A-Roll" and "B-Roll". A-roll is the traditional shots such as the ceremony, first dances, speeches, video of photos being taken, etc. B-roll is the more cinematic shots, or the super cool ones you see that helps support the story. When you have two videographers, you get both a-roll and b-roll without having to worry about missing certain moments, or getting the cool cinematic shot. The same goes for photography: the more photographers, the more angles and photos you get. In our minds, it's well worth it, but this is about you!
